Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer? Are you undergoing treatment or perhaps you know someone – a family member or friend – with cancer? Have you lost someone to cancer?
A cancer diagnosis can bring with it fear, isolation, and anger, and an overwhelming need for information about treatment options, health insurance, financial support, and how to manage the daily routine of life. Cancer doesn’t just change the life of the individual diagnosed, but also the lives of those around them.
At Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka, we offer professionally-led support and networking groups, healthy lifestyle groups, educational workshops and lectures, social activities, and resources to all those impacted by cancer.
The mission of Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka is to ensure all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community.
Our programs are offered free of charge to members.
