September 22, 2018 – Drumming for Gilda!

Joe Adamik’s father was a huge inspiration behind his passion for drumming, rhythm and music. Joe’s father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away almost 30 years ago. Joe is performing almost every weekend now.  His father never had the opportunity to see him play.

Joe will be drumming in honour of his father and all those missing a loved one, whether it be a sibling, cousin, friend, partner, parent…..

As part of LCBO’s involvement in the community and fundraising initiatives, Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka is grateful to be a part of LCBO’s commitment to give back to the community.

From Nov., 11 – 24, 2018 Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka will have donation boxes displayed at the checkout counters at the following LCBO locations:  Alliston; Angus; Barrie; Bradford; Collingwood; Cookstown; Creemore; Elmvale; Innisfil; Meaford; Owen Sound; Stayner; Thornbury; and Wasaga Beach LCBO locations.

Gilda’s Week is a week-long campaign designed to invite the community to learn more about our cancer support program and share in our members’ stories.  Whether you come to the clubhouse for a tour, or support one of many local businesses participating with a DIY fundraiser, Gilda’s Week has a little bit of something for everyone.
