Why Support Gilda’s Club?

For people learning to live with cancer, the feeling of emotional distress can be hard to bear. Maybe you have seen this with someone you care about.  Members of Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka what that feels like. Every member of Gilda's Club has felt the impact of cancer. They've also felt the power of the emotional and social support they find in the cancer support community at Gilda's Club. Here they find the information, companionship and emotional support they need to make it through their cancer journey, whatever the destination.

Welcome to the Painted Door Realty Garden Dome at Gilda’s Club. Our Courtyard of Hope has always been a sanctuary for our members and visitors to Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka. This pandemic and the winter weather has impacted us all and thanks to generous support of our sponsors and numerous supporters we are able to create a Winter Wonderland that help bring an evening of relief to the people we serve, and our community at-large.

We have created a safe sanctuary for our community to enjoy a contactless dinner night out. We provide the space and you can select and support your favourite local restaurant for your dinner. We are providing a sanitized space for your bubble to dine in a bubble – enjoy a dinner night out in a snow globe and still have access to the warm washrooms inside.

 

 


Member Mondays. Every Monday is available to members – contact the Program Team to find out more!


Volunteer Tuesdays. An organization like Gilda’s Club is special because we have volunteers who care. Thank you to our volunteers!


Community Wednesdays. We are working with community partners to open up evenings for anyone to enjoy. A special thanks to the great team at Central Ontario Broadcasting.  Listen to Rock 95.7 , Kool 107.5 and Barrie 360 to find out more!
